An established national charity is currently looking to recruit a Parliamentary and Public Affairs Manager to its Public Policy department.
Reporting into the Head of Public Policy, the post holder will act as the strategic lead for work in Westminster and across English regions. The role will involve developing and implementing effective lobbying strategies, as well as establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relations, both internally and externally. There is staff management responsibility for one member of staff and significant contact with the Chief Executive.
Applicants must have extensive public affairs experience at a strategic level. Proven experience of stakeholder relations is essential, as is the ability to work across a complex organisation to build strong internal relations.
