With considerable senior communications experience (Head of Communications, Director of Communications level) gained in a local authority or elsewhere in the public sector you are available at short notice for this 6 month Interim Head of Communications role.

As Interim Head of Communications you will lead a team of 20 through 5 direct reports covering press, PR, internal communications, web content and digital communications and sponsorship and advertising. You will be responsible for promoting the Council to a range of external stakeholders and informing and engaging employees on Council priorities.

Based North London you will work for a respected local authority on an Interim basis for approximately 6 months, rate £500 - £750 per day.
