Job Description
The Communications Manager will support the RFA’s promotion of sustainable biofuels by ensuring excellent communication of its key messages. You will build on the RFA’s identity as a world leader on biofuel sustainability and maximise the effectiveness of the RFA’s engagement with its stakeholders.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Design and publishing – design and lay out documents such as the RFA’s annual reports to Parliament; develop and lay out the RFA’s monthly newsletter.
- Web maintenance – administration, authoring and development of the RFA website.
- Planning and organising a programme of conference attendance and hosted workshops.
- Media – answering media queries, arranging interviews and articles and supporting media engagement. Tracking media coverage and perceptions of the RFA and biofuels.
- Communications strategy – development and implementation of the RFA’s communications strategy.
- Corporate branding – to support and develop the application of the RFA’s corporate identity.
- Stakeholder engagement - maintain and develop the RFA’s stakeholder databasing systems, grow the readership of the Renewable Fuels digest, build on the RFA’s identity as a world leader on biofuel sustainability.
- Supporting the RFA CEO and Chair with presentation authoring and specialist briefings.
- Corporate documentation – to support the production of key documents.
