Job Description

Drinkaware (drinkaware.co.uk) provides consumers with information to make informed decisions about the effects of alcohol on their lives and lifestyles. Our public education programmes, grants, expert information and resources help create awareness and effect positive change. An independent charity established in 2007, Drinkaware works with the medical profession, the alcohol industry, Government and independent members to achieve its goals.

Taking the lead on our youth strategy, you will develop and consolidate a programme of activity that will engage with sector partners and individuals. You will also work alongside various government departments to ensure we continue to have presence and influence, as well as representing us at local and national events.

You should have recent experience of developing engagement strategies and consulting and engaging successfully with children, young people and their parents/guardians. A strategic thinker, as well as a practical team player, you should have the ability to work with a broad range of partners to develop social marketing and education programmes with the aim of changing drinking attitudes and behaviours.
