Influencing public policy, improving later life

You will lead a team of five, shaping our policy agenda for age-friendly public services.

Age UK is the new national charity formed by the merger of Age Concern and Help the Aged. Our ambitions are huge - we aim to re-shape our ageing society, so that later life is a time of security and opportunity for all. To succeed, our new Public Policy department aims to become a leader in evidence-based influencing and policy innovation.

We are seeking exceptional policy professionals to shape the new department and define our influencing agenda. If you can bring a mix of expert policy analysis, high-impact influencing and creative thinking we want to hear from you.

The Policy Programme Manager needs the skills to lead a team of Policy Advisers and shape Age UK’s influencing agenda for health and social care.

35 hrs per week.
