As the Chartered body for the public relations profession, the Institute also has a duty to develop and communicate best practice, according to the highest professional and ethical standards of practice.

This role is to lead the Institute’s policy team, which includes the development of best practice guidance, setting standards for practice, conducting and disseminating research and public affairs. Tasked with building the Institute’s voice and supporting policy outputs is a public relations, marketing and web team that sits within the Director of Policy’s team.
