Excellent Research in the UK: Do we need the EU?
UK universities are world-renowned for their research excellence, attracting talent from across Europe and beyond. What role does the EU play in supporting groundbreaking research, discoveries and inventions, and how much do our universities need EU funding and support to remain at the cutting edge?
Join us in Cambridge to hear the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, and local MEPs, academics and industry chiefs discuss the relationship between the European Union and excellent research in the UK.
Doors open at 9.30am. Debate starts at 10.00am and ends at 12.15pm, followed by lunch.
The event is organised in partnership with Universities UK
