In light of the introduction of an official Opposition being installed at Stormont, Turley PR and Public Affairs will be hosting a seminar on the practicalities and processes which will be affected within the new Assembly term.

The event will open with a breakdown of the practical details from Paul Gill (NI Assembly Official). Paul will set the scene and provide valuable information on the effects of Opposition for processes like Ministerial Questions, Debates, Speaking Rules and Member's Bills.

A panel discussion with both Opposition and Executive party representation will follow the opening presentation. High profile members from the DUP, SDLP, UUP and Alliance will provide party perspectives and outline the challenges and opportunities for Opposition. Attendees will help to shape the subject matter and have opportunities to ask questions to the panel throughout the discussion.

Finally, Alex Kane will provide a synopsis of the event and a brief analysis in relation to his thoughts on the practical workings of Opposition.
