Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Grayling Public Affairs is looking to recruit a new Account Executive to work on a number of flagship client accounts, including for some of the country’s most recognisable organisations (a full list of our clients can be found on the APPC and UK Public Affairs Council website). Our client base covers a broad range of sectors and includes Parliamentary Engagement activity, as well as Community Relations.

The role will require an eye for detail, excellent political knowledge and an enthusiasm for political debate, excellent written English, good judgement and a proactive mind set. A professional telephone manner is also important in the role.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Monitoring of Parliamentary and Government proceedings;
  • Providing daily and weekly political intelligence reports for our clients;
  • Drafting political briefing notes and parliamentary correspondence;
  • Attending and contributing to client meetings;
  • Organising client events and parliamentary receptions;
  • Supporting Party Conference programmes;
  • Planning, Property and Community Relations activity;
  • Contributing to our departmental marketing strategy and set-piece Grayling events.

Location: Holborn Gate, Central London (occasional client travel may be expected).
