Our client is a high quality independent public affairs consultancy. They are looking to recruit two Account Executives on their fast track management programme that offers rapid promotion to the successful applicants. The right candidates should expect to achieve rapid promotion and work with clients from day one.

Their consultants come from across the political spectrum and are experienced in a wide range of sectors with specialist expertise in Energy, Technology, and Healthcare. Their clients range from SMEs to global organisations, as well as trade associations, charities, and local authorities.

As Account Executive your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients through developing a thorough understanding of public affairs and the communications sector;
  • Organising and implementing public events and meetings;
  • Providing support to the account management team in delivering client work;
  • Monitoring and researching newsworthy sources relevant to clients throughout traditional, digital and social media.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A strong academic track record;
  • Experience working as a researcher for an MP or a political party;
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are essential;
  • A good awareness of the public affairs industry is an advantage; internships at an agency or with an in-house public affairs team even better;
  • The desire to participate in the development and presentation of new business pitches.
