Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

MHP, one of the UK’s leading PR and public affairs consultancies, is looking for the brightest graduates interested in a career in communications.

The MHP graduate scheme for 2017 is now open. Our fast-track programme immerses new talent in the world of business and communications. You will be a core member of our client services team from day one and quickly acquire a detailed understanding of client and project management, business and financial systems, marketing and communications, combined with a thorough comprehension of politics and the media.

You will be able to specialise in one of our areas of expertise; financial, brand, corporate affairs or health.

Our commitment to you is to put you at the heart of a fast moving, hard-working and lively environment where every day promises to be different. We will deliver a huge amount of training to ensure you get up to speed quickly and continue to develop your skills, and we will send you on a secondment in the second half of your year to give you another perspective on communications.

What are we looking for?

A strong academic record, excellent written, oral and presentation skills, creativity, initiative and passion.

We look for candidates who can demonstrate a willingness to learn, intellectual curiosity, self-confidence, business etiquette and the readiness to go above and beyond.

The MHP graduate fast-track training scheme runs from September to September. We usually offer four positions a year across the company.
