Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Westminster Advisers is looking for a motivated and politically interested intern to join our team by providing research and administrative support. We are a fast growing and award winning public affairs and strategic communications consultancy located in central London.

This is a valuable opportunity for a recent graduate seeking to start a career in public affairs and communications. It is an ideal role for someone who has a strong academic record, an instinct for excellent communication, and a demonstrable interest in current affairs and business. You will enjoy being part of a busy team and will show enthusiasm and initiative.

This is a full time position for a three-month period, ideally starting in January. We pay our interns the London Living Wage, currently £9.75 an hour.

Core requirements for the role will be:

  • Monitoring political and policy developments;
  • Drafting briefings and biographies;
  • Researching issues, people and sectors for new business opportunities;
  • Assisting with event organisation and other administrative support.

Our interns are an important part of our team. We are committed to ensuring they integrate into company life and get a good experience of working in public affairs consultancy, developing important skills for progression.
