The City Property Association and Westminster Property Association are two trade bodies which represent the interests of landowners, developers and professional services involved in the development, design and consultation of Central London real estate.

The successful candidate needs to be highly organised, presentable and enthusiastic. They will learn from and support a busy but small team working across a wide and varied job remit, including event management, marketing, planning policy and stakeholder engagement.

The Associations are not for profit membership organisations representing the interest of approximately 85% of all major developers in Central London. Our offices are in the heart of the West End shared with the British Property Federation and LandAid.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following qualities in their application:

  • An interest in property issues and understanding of the political system;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • Be ambitious and highly motivated;
  • Excellent IT skills: the candidate will be required to use WordPress and MailChimp, therefore experience in these would be favourable, but not essential.

About the City & Westminster Property Associations

Advocacy – We meet regularly with politicians and policy makers from local and national government to express our members’ views on current and prospective legislation, how to support economic growth and influence the general direction of policy relating to built environment, transport, infrastructure and other issues.

Insights – We support research undertaken by our members which provides a greater understanding of the industry and future market trends. To this end we also hold regular breakfast seminars with our members where experts and key industry figures present their research and offer their views on topical issues.

Networking – We hold regular social events throughout the year at which our members can network, and forge new friendships and business relationships. These include launches of new buildings, seasonal receptions and our biggest event, the Annual Lunches.
