The Public Affairs & Advocacy Assistant is an entry-level role which involves accurate and timely execution of key public affairs activities such as monitoring government policy, providing political insight and intelligence gathering, alongside leading on the development of briefing materials for the rest of the public affairs team.
In addition to execution of key public affairs activities, the appointee will be expected to develop their understanding of relevant NHS and pharmaceutical policy; the compliant engagement with patient advocacy groups; as well as some understanding of planning, developing and the implementation of a therapeutic area Public Affairs & Advocacy programmes.
