The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Our client is an industry and commerce business based in Cambridgeshire. They are looking for a Public Affairs Executive to join the team on a three month contract to assist the Public Affairs Manager with the below responsibilities.

About the role:

  • Research and intelligence work on policy issues affecting the business;
  • Stakeholder mapping and contact database upkeep;
  • Supporting community engagement work;
  • Production of stakeholder e-newsletter;
  • Event support, including assistance with organisation of party conference activity.

About you:

  • Educated to degree level of equivalent;
  • Passion for politics and current affairs;
  • Ideally experience in a communications role (perhaps a University placement or Internship);
  • Clear and concise written manner;
  • Well organised and a disciplined multi-tasker.
