Our client is a well-respected organisation in a pivotal industry for the UK. They have developed a number of research projects which inform government and industry on the state of their sector. This Research Assistant position is an excellent opportunity for a bright, communicative recent graduate to work on politically-minded research projects.

The role involves supporting the wider team in the execution of the research strategy. As such, the ability to work well on a team and to set deadlines is crucial. They will be responsible for delivering analysis of existing data, reviewing and prioritising external research as well as investigating new potential sources.

The ideal candidate will hold:

  • An excellent academic record;
  • Demonstrable quantitative research experience, including procurement and analysis;
  • Experience of working with SPSS to clean and manipulate data;
  • The ability to present data in a clear, communicative manner.
