Indigo is an independent, award winning communications agency based in Edinburgh. With an impressive 18 year track record, our clients are as varied as they are interesting, including global blue chip organisations, property specialists, healthcare and the third sector.

Clients seek our insight and reputation management expertise, delivered through media relations, public affairs and crisis management.

To complement our existing team, we are looking for an experienced researcher to work across the company’s client portfolio.

Typical tasks will include researching and monitoring parliamentary business, consultations, legislation and policy events across a range of interests including Scottish Government, local authority, NHS and other public sector organisations.

A good working knowledge of Scotland’s legislative process and the Scottish and Westminster parliaments would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent written presentation skills and attention to detail. This position is particularly suited to a candidate with experience in public affairs.

With a variety of clients working in a number of different sectors, the researcher must be flexible and resourceful to identify and track relevant items of interest.

A good work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team and to tight deadlines is essential.
