This is an election that could have huge political consequences. It presents a chance for Theresa May to get a mandate for her own domestic agenda, and to strengthen her hand ahead of the Brexit negotiations beginning in earnest.

An expected increased majority will offer her a bulwark against those within her party unwilling for her to take a pragmatic or flexible approach to the talks.

It will also tell us whether a Liberal Democrat revival is possible, and could be decisive for the future direction of the Labour Party.

Preparing for the outcome of the election, and understanding the implications it will have for business is important. This election provides both risks and opportunities for those looking to engage with government and other policymakers.

WA can help you keep your business objectives on track during the period ahead, both during and after the election.

To that end, we’ve prepared a comprehensive report setting out what lies ahead in the coming weeks and months, which includes information and analysis on:

  • Current polling and what the composition of the Commons could look like after the election;
  • Where the battleground seats are, and which demographics the parties will be appealing to;
  • What an increased majority would mean for Theresa May’s domestic and Brexit agendas;
  • The policies and themes that will likely feature in the parties’ manifestos;
  • The political timetable we can expect for the rest of the year.
