Jose Mourinho said this week that April was the month in which his players “destroyed” their rivals in their pursuit of a fourth Premier League trophy. Perhaps Andrew Lewin (Associate Director – Blue Rubicon) will look back on April with a similar perspective, as he extends his lead on his rivals to enter the final month of the season top of the league.

The chasing pack remains in touch, however, as a small reshuffle of positions sees last year’s winner Joshua Willison (Partnership Manager - The Crown Estate) continue his late push as he leapfrogs Dylan Sharpe (Head of PR - The Sun) and David Leach (Government Affairs Manager - Marks and Spencer) into second place.

A good month for Alan Gillam (Senior Parliamentary Researcher - Office of Gregg McClymont MP) is rewarded with promotion from seventh to fifth. The top ten is completed by Anthony Roberts (Senior Manager - RCVS), Mark Hopkins and newcomers Andrew Brown (Senior Account Manager - MHP Communications) and Matthew Wrelton (Technology and Innovation Consultant - Inline Policy).

Overall Points Table

Alan Gillam’s move up the table is reflective of his impressive points total during April. With 310 points, he was April’s deserved Manager of the Month, finishing a huge 26 points ahead of second placed Joshua Willison. Gillam’s team, Reaper Rovers, features a spine of Championship winning Chelsea players, as well as the in-form Philippe Coutinho and Sergio Agüero and resurgent Leicester players Schlupp and Vardy.
