With eight Gameweeks remaining in the Premier League, football managers (real and fantasy) are beginning to make plans for the crucial run-in. Chelsea’s six point lead with a game in hand looks certain to be enough to earn Mourinho a third Premier League title.

In the PubAffairs Fantasy Football League, the top two are putting distance between themselves and the chasing pack. Still at the top of the table is Andrew Lewin (Associate Director Blue Rubicon), but he ends the month only a single point ahead of second-placed Dylan Sharpe (Head of PR - The Sun).

An impressive month for Anthony Roberts (Senior Manager - RCVS) means he joins long term chasers David Leach (Government Affairs Manager - Marks and Spencer) and Joshua Willison (Partnership Manager - The Crown Estate) in the elite top five. Newcomers Benjamin Moody (Senior Public Affairs Manager - JDRF) and Mark Hopkins accompany Andrew Kernahan (Senior Consultant - Political Intelligence), Alan Gillam (Senior Parliamentary Researcher - Office of Gregg McClymont MP) and Andrew Williams (Senior Account Executive - Bellenden) to complete the top ten.

Overall Points Table

With two points separating the top three scorers, March’s Manager of the Month was a close contest, edged by Alexander Mather (Consultant - Political Intelligence) over Anthony Roberts and Benjamin Moody. Mather, along with 49.8% of all Fantasy Football Managers, benefitted from the continued fine form of Captain Harry Kane, ably supported by a rejuvenated Olivier Giroud and terrifying midfield trio of Silva, Sanchez and Hazard.
