Who would have thought at the beginning of the season it would have been Leicester’s Mahrez and Vardy leading Fantasy Football Managers to glory, rather than Chelsea’s Hazard and Costa... As it is, Leicester’s impressive start to the season continues and Chelsea’s problems only seem to be getting worse as Mourinho and last year’s League-winning squad languish in the bottom half of the table.

This month’s top Manager certainly seems to have embraced the shift in momentum, as David Leach’s (Government Affairs Manager - Marks and Spencer) squad features the red-hot Leicester duo, as well as West Ham’s in-form Payet, impressive City signing De Bruyne and the back-to-form Pellè and Kane. Running in a close second and third were Neeraj Shah (Consultant - Political Intelligence) and Joshua Clements (Recruitment Leader - Electus).

Leach’s excellent month sees him climb to second in the table behind September's joint-leader Francis Mallinson (Public Affairs and Communications Consultant - Lexington), who finished fourth in this month’s standings. Mallinson’s team featured many of the aforementioned players, as well as Arsenal’s rejuvenated Mesut Özil and Stoke’s reliable Jack Butland.

Last month's other leader, Seri Davies (Consultant - Gemini People), dropped down to sixth, as Josh Eldridge (Consultant - Political Intelligence), Edward Simpson (Head of Government Affairs - Finance and Leasing Association) and Richard Wainer (Head of Public Affairs and Corporate Responsibility - EE) completed the top five.
