The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

Sovereign Strategy have strengthened their team by appointing Arlene McCarthy and signing a partnership with Richard Woods’ PR agency ARW Media.

McCarthy joins the consultancy in the new role of Deputy Chair for European Strategy having spent twenty years as Member of the European Parliament for North West England. During her career in Europe, she became the first woman Labour MEP to Chair the Internal and Consumer Protection Committee and served as Vice Chair of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee until standing down this year. Her work in the Parliament was recognised when she received the 2014 Parliamentarian of the Year award for her work and acheivements in economic and monetary affairs.

McCarthy’s appointment is part of a wider evolution of Sovereign Strategy’s offering which includes the introduction of a new International Advisory Board, the opening of new Westminster offices and a new partnership with PR agency ARW Media, founded by Richard Woods.

Formerly Director of Communications for world motor sport regulator FIA, Woods founded ARW to advise regulator, rights holders and teams on the global business and governance of sport. The specialists in international media and crisis management will work in partnership with Sovereign Strategy.
