Job Details
The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) is a public body created to provide, for the first time, a real level of security in retirement for millions of UK pension scheme members. It is a unique and exciting opportunity to help shape and develop a small but high profile organisation.
We have an opportunity for a self-motivated and confident individual to join our Corporate Affairs team. You will take the lead in ensuring the PPF’s parliamentary and wider stakeholder engagement supports our objective of maintaining our reputation by clearly communicating what we do and why we do it.
You will manage and develop the stakeholder and parliamentary relationship programme, develop individual programmes when needed, and ensure that the Chair, Chief Executive and senior colleagues are appropriately briefed on public affairs issues. You will also act as a resource for colleagues on all political, governmental and industry matters.
With experience of running stakeholder management and contact programmes, you will have excellent analytical and communication skills and sound knowledge of legislative and policy-making processes. You will be goal-orientated and a strong team player, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Knowledge of current financial services issues and the government’s thinking and policy on pensions would also be an added advantage.
The PPF offers:
- excellent working conditions and work/life balance
- exceptional benefits
- a defined benefit pension plan.
