A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Policy Advisor. As the suitable candidate you will:

• Carry out timely evaluation and analysis of consultative documents.
• Creatively and proactively contribute towards the development of policy positions in response to consultations and wider market issues.
• Maintain regular contact, building constructive relationships with regulators, professional bodies and professionals working in the profession.
• Deal with member queries relating to regulatory, legal or technical issues.
• Give presentations on changes in policy and regulatory issues. 

Our client is looking for a candidate with:

• Technical and practical knowledge of the financial services sector.
• Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory and compliance framework within the financial services industry or other regulated industry.
• Understanding of policy and policy development and the practical application of policies in a commercial environment.
• Awareness of wider Public Policy, and European regulatory/policy agendas. 
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop constructive relationships with colleagues, members and professional contacts.
