A well know public sector client of Electus has instructed us to search for a public affairs manager to engage across the political landscape.

This role will engage with government and stakeholders across the political landscape. Reporting to the Head of Public and Corporate Affairs, this position will ensure all engagement is in line with the organisation’s strategic outcomes and goals.

The main responsibilities include managing the stakeholder and parliamentary engagement programmes including developing and implementing a communications strategy. Internal briefing across the organisation on major public affairs issues that affect the organisation. Provide input into wider communications platforms such as building additional policy expertise.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the policy making process and in particular financial services. You will have also experience of running a stakeholder engagement programme, preferably in a consultancy or in-house position.

The ability to demonstrate excellent communications and analytical skills is key, as well as the ability to provide political counsel to senior members of the leadership team.
