Temporary Contract – Up to 12 months Maternity Cover

Age UK has a vision of a world in which older people flourish. We aim to improve later life for everyone through our information and advice, campaigns, products, training and research.

With a flair for PR and delivering high quality consumer media coverage, you will play a central role in promoting Age UK and its breadth of work.

You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including the Fundraising Division, to develop new PR initiatives to build our brand and increase our profile. Promoting Age UK activities and corporate partnerships (including charity of the year, strategic, sponsored and cause-related marketing), you will be adept at devising and spotting opportunities for attracting the media’s attention.

With a ‘can-do’ attitude, the ability to take ownership of projects and drive to succeed, you will have experience of working in a media or PR environment and delivering a range of high quality media coverage. You will also have excellent writing and communications skills.

35 hours per week.
