Reporting to the Director of Government and Public Affairs the Government and Public Affairs Manager will develop and implement the public affairs programmes in the fields of cardiovascular and respiratory. Working with the boarder corporate communications team you will contribute to creating a positive Parliamentary and Whitehall environment to promote the corporate government affairs messaging. You will also represent the company to health stakeholders such as patient groups and the ABPI.

You will have:

  • Experience in policy development and public affairs 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Confidence to represent the organisation to external stakeholders
  • A flexible approach and initiative to work under pressure and complete projects to time and on budget
  • Experience of working within health public affairs is essential and it is likely that you will currently be working with a patient group, pharmaceutical company or the broader health sphere.
