Electus are working closely with a top market consultancy who offer their clients a world-class service in the planning and property, local government and community consultation arena.
They are now looking to make a senior and strategic hire of an Account Director / Associate Director to lead a well-established but still growing team.You will be working from day one on high profile projects, speaking daily with the consultancies top clients, having the opportunity to engage and influence on crucial work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience working in an agency environment on stakeholder engagement, consultation or political lobbying programmes;
- An individual with experience of leading a team (at AE and AM level);
- The ability to operate as an independent business unit – identifying and generating new business opportunities in order to meet team turnover targets;
- Experience of running public affairs campaigns at both local government and national level;
- Direct political experience, either as an elected member or party agent, would be desirable;
- Experience of working within the context of the planning system.
