Specialising in planning and local government communications our team includes local government cabinet members, Deputy Leaders and Leaders and experienced Public Affairs professionals with the best industry contacts.

If you hold a senior position in elected local government, or have done until recently, then we would like to talk with you about joining our first-class team. With offices in London, Birmingham and Newcastle we cover the UK. A first-class employment package includes a competitive salary. We are an accredited company with Investors In People and have a unique extensive in-house training programme.

The role will be full-time in our London office only and it is preferable that you live in London or Greater London as there are evening planning committees you will be expected to attend. Sometimes there are exhibitions and conferences to attend over weekends. There will be some travel involved to our other offices and other places in the UK. You will be in charge of a Team with the Team members directly reporting to you so candidates with previous managerial experience are preferred.

We will only look at candidates that have the following:

  • Extensive knowledge of UK local government being a current, former councillor or current local UK political activist or campaigner;
  • Be currently politically active in one of the main political parties;
  • Have good political and potential client contacts;
  • Knowledge of the development control/planning process;
  • Educated to degree level with first class written English and report writing skills as well as good PC skills and be proficient using outlook, word, excel;
  • Have a full valid UK driving licence (please state on your CV).
