Following huge growth and success, they have expanded their reach to cover domestic energy and trade associations, and are currently seeking an established Account Director to drive this ambitious team forward. This role will suit a talented Public Affairs professional with a thorough knowledge of and a strong track record in providing energy policy to a political party or MP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated Account Director to play a major part in the development of this growing public affairs agency.

This role is very varied and exciting. It will involve working on a variety of energy, infrastructure and waste clients, focused both domestically and abroad. The role will involve developing existing client relationships, supporting new business activity and in developing the agency as a whole. As Account Director, you would be responsible for proactively seeking new business opportunities, and would also be able to demonstrate your impressive ability to manage and motivate a hard-working team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A superb academic track record;
  • Experience working as a researcher to an MP with a known track record in energy policy or served as an energy policy adviser to a political party;
  • Excellent media relations experience and contacts to match;
  • Proven ability to manage team members and win new business;
  • The ability to manage and motivate colleagues and clients accordingly.
