Our client is a well regarded and market leading integrated communications agency based in London.

Description

  • To give strategic advice to clients on public affairs and market access communications;
  • Managing client accounts and budgets;
  • Give counsel and support with operational skill, where required;
  • Project manage a team of researchers, consultants and senior consultants;
  • Lead on tenders and pitches aimed at winning new business;
  • Generate new business fee income from new contacts becoming clients or new business from existing clients.

This role will lead a number of accounts across our healthcare practice, which spans the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors, the NHS, IT, charities, and private providers of services.

Profile

Their clients are from both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills/experience:

  • Public affairs and market access experience with corporate issues and pharmaceutical brands;
  • Ability to lead teams and drive client accounts;
  • Excellent project and budget management;
  • Good presentation and pitching capabilities;
  • Proven new business development and networking ability;
  • A strong personal network of contacts across politics, policy, NHS, third parties, and client side;
  • Deep understanding of the new NHS architecture and health policy;
  • Some understanding of Brussels and EU healthcare agendas would also be an advantage;
  • Media relations experience useful but not essential.
