An award-winning public affairs and communications consultancy is now looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their talented team and work closely with a number of high profile clients.

In this role you will be responsible for building strong working relationships with clients and contributing to the agency’s powerful public affairs campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fun, driven team and hone your skill-set whilst working across a range of interesting accounts.

Role responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing opportunities to lobby and campaign on appropriate issues concerning the client brief;
  • Working autonomously alongside a talented team to best carry out innovative, imaginative campaign strategies;
  • Acting as the client liaison and using your communication skills to build excellent working relationships with a variety of organisations;
  • Support on other accounts within the agency where experience is relevant and as needed;
  • Advise on any public affairs issues that are relevant to the client base as and when appropriate;
  • Potential to line manage if desired and assist with team leadership of a group of talented individuals.

Necessary skills and experience:

  • In-depth political knowledge with proven experience in a parliamentary-focused role or similar;
  • Experience of working with-in a public affairs or communications agency or consultancy setting is highly beneficial;
  • Proven strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to work across a wider team and contribute across projects;
  • Experience of managing key clients and engaging with stakeholders;
  • Strong academic record.
