This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading healthcare communications agency, who specialise in delivering public affairs, media relations, crisis communications, and policy strategy to established healthcare clients. This is an extremely exciting time to join the agency, as they are currently expanding across Europe. They are looking for an individual to help build their Brussels offering. This role is based in Brussels and will take the lead on delivering public affairs and healthcare communications to a range of high-profile clients.

This opportunity calls for an individual who can hit the ground running, who has an existing network of healthcare contacts and who has a good Brussels and European parliament network.

As Associate Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating leadership in the office and understanding political and policy change;
  • Providing high quality advice to clients on the implications of policy or political developments for their strategy and programmes of activity;
  • Leading client accounts;
  • Taking a proactive approach to sourcing and securing significant new business;
  • Building an independent profile in the sector as a thought-leader and expert in health policy.

You will demonstrate:

  • A strong background of working in healthcare communications, gained in an agency environment;
  • An existing network of Brussels and European Parliament contacts;
  • Excellent healthcare contacts with a thorough understanding of the industry;
  • Experience of pitching for and securing new business;
  • The ability to motivate and inspire a team.
