Our client, a fast-growing and high profile communications agency, is looking for an experienced and ambitious Public Affairs specialist. Based in the heart of London, our client offers a full range of public relations services, and their public affairs team is well renowned for its outstanding work and extremely successful campaigns.

As Director of Public Affairs, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing board-level clients with high-calibre communications counsel and strategy;
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis and advising clients on UK government relations programmes;
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with relevant Public Affairs contacts;
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities and encouraging the growth of existing accounts;
  • Managing a team and mentoring colleagues, playing a vital role in the continued success of the consultancy.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a communications agency;
  • Excellent knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall and a proven contact network;
  • Passion and insight into politics, public affairs and communications;
  • The desire to work in a fast paced, ambitious agency.
