Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Join the Network

An international development campaign is looking for a Campaigner for a six month contract.

The role:

  • Specifically to focus on the Post 2015 framework which is a key priority for the organisations’ advocacy over the coming year;
  • To support specific advocacy projects targeting governments, international bodies and global institutions;
  • Work closely with advocacy staff across the organisation including members and country programmes to support their post 2015 advocacy efforts and assist in their strategies as appropriate.

The candidate:

  • A capable and passionate Campaigner with demonstrable experience of policy change and knowledge of how to use policy, research, lobbying, public campaigning, media and digital work to influence a political agenda;
  • Experience of engaging with and influencing decision makers in governments and international institutions particularly the UN;
  • Very strong ability to prioritise a high volume of work.
