A leading animal charity is currently seeking a Campaigns Manager to lead the strategic delivery of localised campaigns across the UK. This is a key managerial post where you will be responsible for remotely managing a team of campaign managers dispersed across the country who will deliver localised campaigns. Further responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a team of four Campaign Managers, providing the necessary support and direction for the delivery of regional and local campaigns;
  • Providing guidance to the team on developing relationships with local and regional political stakeholders;
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of campaigns;
  • Ensuring local and regional campaign delivery is consistent with national campaigns strategy;
  • Taking the lead on setting up the new Scotland office campaign team.

This is a key managerial post that requires strong experience in leadership and line management combined with a background in leading successful campaigns. The following list of skills and experience are essential:

  • A strong academic background to degree-level or equivalent;
  • A demonstrable track record of managing successful campaign teams and budgets;
  • Evidence of campaign monitoring and evaluation;
  • A strong understanding of local and regional political structures and experience of building relationships with local and regional political audiences;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • An interest in animal welfare.
