Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

The successful applicant will work within this highly regarded Professional Body’s Policy and Campaigns team to engage with decision makers and opinion formers.

The ideal candidate need not have a health policy focused background but will have a proven ability to influence policy as an effective campaigner.

Specific Duties:

  • Plan and implement campaigns aimed at a range of audiences to generate support for the Organisations objectives;
  • Work closely with their policy team to ensure that their campaigns compliment and support their positions on relevant policy;
  • Identify and commission research to provide an evidence base for campaigns;
  • Work alongside members of their Press Office using a range of communication channels to ensure the delivery of their campaigns;
  • Take responsibility to forge relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent;
  • A demonstrable background in campaigns and stakeholder engagement, ideally with an understanding of health policy;
  • Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to quickly assimilate complex information into easily digestible content.
