Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

A varied role with a unique organisation for whom you’ll be the communications lead for a key business unit, supporting in the development of B2B communications strategy and creating and rolling out programmes using proactive and reactive media relations, publications, digital comms and social media.

Strong project management skills are essential and working on industry-wide initiatives, often in partnership with other organisations and acting as an industry spokesperson in media interviews, you’ll need excellent presentation, influencing and relationship building skills with the ability to generate consensus and drive programmes through to successful completion. Excellent writing and media handling skills are a must and you’ll be quick to assimilate complex issues and develop messaging and succinct copy for different channels.
