Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

A pivotal role with real autonomy, in the busy, dynamic corporate communications team of an organisation with a great story to tell, you’ll be responsible for developing proactive media initiatives to generate coverage in print, broadcast and social media, building and maintaining relations with industry groups and other stakeholders, and supporting on events.

The need is for someone proactive and driven who thrives in a fast placed environment, who can both think and do, and with the confidence and credibility to engage at senior level internally and externally. With strong writing skills and a flair for developing impactful campaigns and content, you’ll enjoy turning complex issues into clear messaging and driving programmes through to successful completion.

With responsibility for a diverse remit, you’ll need to be well organised with strong project management skills and a talent for writing, and you’ll demonstrate a track record in generating business stories and securing coverage.
