Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Join the Network

A pivotal role with a renowned brand, your focus will be on developing corporate affairs programmes that maintain and enhance the brand across the UK. With agency support and managing one other, you’ll lead on media relations, issues management, community affairs and CSR while working closely with peers in government relations and internal communications to develop PR programmes that engage with all stakeholders, the public, policy makers, NGOs and industry included.

Providing PR counsel to colleagues across the business, identifying potential risks and managing response in crisis situations, as well as building relations with external opinion formers, you’ll demonstrate keen judgment and strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Experience gained in corporate PR, ideally in a consumer facing business, is essential and with a primary expertise in media relations, you’ll be well placed to work with colleagues to develop positive stories and maximise agency output. Budget and team management experience is a must.
