Are you a skilled and creative external affairs professional? Looking for the chance to work on public affairs and media relations in an exciting, dynamic and influential health charity?

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. This is an exciting time to join our growing external affairs team and build on its excellent progress in raising our profile and influence among political, parliamentary, health system and media stakeholders.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated external affairs officer to help us deliver our overarching influencing and communications strategies, by supporting the external affairs team in effectively delivering high quality public affairs, stakeholder relations, media, and integrated communications activity.

You’ll have a good understanding of the UK political system and of health and social care policy, proven experience of public affairs and an enthusiasm to learn more about media relations. The ideal candidate will be a team player who displays an enthusiasm for developing and maintaining the external affairs team’s processes and infrastructure. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of drafting clear and concise briefings, reports and other written materials.
