Do you understand the day-to-day workings of Westminster and how politicians operate? Would your briefing documents be well-timed and super-relevant to champion Hastoe’s influence on the rural housing agenda? Can you present your forensic research in plain language for a broad spectrum of audiences? Are you good at building relationships with journalists, professional bodies and special interest groups?

We delight in being England’s leading rural housing provider. We take our responsibility extremely seriously, especially in such challenging times. Listening to the needs of rural communities, we love to innovate in the way we work with them, the quality of our new homes and their energy efficiency. This post will help us to enhance our ability to influence policy at national level on behalf of rural communities and our current and future residents.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will share our passion for rural communities and for the environment. You will have excellent communication and digital skills, and be confident in managing our microsite, the Rural Housing Hub, as a source of useful information for politicians, the media and other national and regional influencers. You will enjoy working with others, building strong working relationships inside and outside Hastoe and gathering data and information which is relevant to Hastoe’s business and rural communities.
