A Head of Campaigns & Policy is required for an International Development campaign.
The role
- To lead, develop and implement 2015 – 2020 UK advocacy strategies;
- To line manage and support a Campaigns and Parliamentary Officer and a Policy Officer to develop their priorities and to deliver effective campaigning and parliamentary engagement in line with organisational strategies;
- To build the organisations profile and credibility externally with high level stakeholders, coalitions and UK donors.
The candidate
- A good understanding of international development issues and significant experience within the development sector in a campaigns related role;
- Excellent leadership qualities and previous senior management experience;
- Demonstrable experience of developing advocacy strategies and a deep understanding of how to influence both UK and global political structure.
