Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for a major public sector body.

You will:

  • Develop and deliver a Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) strategy and agenda;
  • Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability initiatives across the organisation to ensure they are consistent, cost-effective and support delivery of the company’s goals;
  • Draw up a list of external business and community stakeholders, including charitable trusts and others, who we can work with to support our CSR approach;
  • Investigate the merits of joining key bodies, such as Business in the Community, which can support our CSR strategy;
  • Develop and produce reports (annual report, regulatory reports, regular briefing to internal and external stakeholders etc.) in line with best practice (e.g. Global Report Initiative);
  • Develop monitoring and reporting performance data on CSR.

You will have:

  • Excellent knowledge European policy on Corporate Social Responsibility;
  • The suitable candidate will work in either the public/not for profit and private sector;
  • Able to demonstrate successful management of large scale corporate projects;
  • Demonstrate a strong track record working in the area of corporate social responsibility;
  • Demonstrable a track record working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders in senior positions.
