A long-standing and reputable Professional Body are in search of a Head of Policy to build-out and implement an influential policy and public affairs strategy to increase the organisation’s profile.
You will:
- Develop and deliver a policy and public affairs strategy to build the organisation's reputation;
- Provide representation for the organisation at external industry events, as well as with key stakeholders across the UK;
- Provide a wide range of high-quality output for a range of audiences;
- Engage stakeholders in policy development;
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure policy work contributes to the wider objectives of the organisation.
You will need:
- Experience of managing operational plans and setting strategic objectives;
- Solid understanding of Parliamentary processes and decision making within Government;
- Experience of writing policy consultations and submissions;
- Demonstrable experience of motivating and leading a team;
- Outstanding oral and written communications.
