Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Join the Network

This well respected health research membership body has 133 members who collectively invest over £1.3bn on medical research annually. They work collaboratively within the medical research community across the private, public and third sectors. A position of Head of Policy and Public Affairs is now available to lead on developing and implementing policy on behalf of members to key stakeholders.

Reporting directly into their new Chief Executive, you will be responsible for developing policy positions and strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the medical research and scientific community across the UK and Europe. You will manage the policy and public affairs team, and be a member of the Senior Management team.

With a background in policy and public affairs, you will have a track record in policy development, be used to influencing politicians and senior executives, and have an ability to work across complex issues affecting medical and health research with ease. Previous experience in a membership or health and science body would be desirable but is not essential.
