Clayton Desant is currently working with a leading organisation in the technology sector at the forefront of this technology revolution. The organisation is looking to recruit an individual that will play a vital part in ensuring that the UK digital health economy is provided the optimum conditions for growth and development.
The Head of Policy & Stakeholder Engagement will:
- Work to develop a thought leadership profile on digital health and care issues;
- Proactively seek to develop strategic and influential relationships across government departments and other official bodies to position the organisation as the key partner in helping to foster innovation and provide expertise in digital health;
- Advocate on behalf of the organisation on multiple platforms (parliamentary committees, media, conferences etc.) whilst creating influential policy an thought leadership outputs;
- Network extensively across the technology industry whilst maintaining a keen eye on new developments;
- Develop and deliver a range of market engagement events whilst ensuring the organisation maintains its reputation as the leader in digital health and social care;
- Manage a small team.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- A strong policy and/or public affairs background in the health and social care arena with some exposure to the digital health or the technology sector generally;
- Demonstrable experience of developing strong relationships across Westminster and Whitehall;
- Demonstrable skills in advocacy and public speaking;
- Experience in line management;
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written);
- A genuine interest in the technology sector, ideally in digital health.
