Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

A newly created role in the UK business of a renowned global pharmaceutical company, with responsibility for leading on product communications with the support of agencies and building a small team in due course. Working closely with senior management and peers in external affairs and marketing, you’ll create and deliver external engagement strategies, both launch and post-launch, raising awareness of the company’s expertise and profile in key therapy areas to diverse stakeholders, from medical professionals and patient groups to media, simultaneously building and protecting the company’s reputation and managing potential issues and crises. Experience in healthcare product communications, gained in-house or within a specialist consultancy, is essential and you’ll bring a keen understanding of ABPI guidelines and NHS structures. Well developed leadership skills are equally important and you’ll be skilled in leading and managing internal stakeholders, leveraging their expertise to deliver business objectives.
