A newly created role with a highly respected organisation, you’ll  report to the Director of Communications and lead in the creation and delivery of stakeholder engagement programmes, identifying and building relations with Government and Parliamentarians, industry bodies and trade associations, and other opinion formers. The aim being to drive engagement around key initiatives and enhance the organisation’s reputation rather than influence legislation.

The position requires extensive experience of developing public affairs strategies, a keen understanding of parliamentary process, and a track record in engaging with influential political stakeholders in Westminster and across Government departments. You’ll need to be strategic, experienced at advising at CEO level on complex issues, but hands on too, happy to roll up your sleeves and lead by example, providing guidance and mentoring to a small team.

With issues that range from training and development to environment, logistics and health amongst others, diverse sector experience would be invaluable.
