Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

An exciting opportunity has been created within a forward thinking membership body who lead within their field. The issues they manage sit high on the political agenda and this is a truly unique role.

You will lead on the organisations work on technology and innovation, working with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to influence and shape government policy whilst developing their expertise in emerging technologies.

You will work closely with the Westminster, Whitehall, Universities and broad stakeholder groups – managing and building these relationships and indentifying opportunities that will be of benefit of the organisation and its members.

You will develop and manage strategic communications and networking campaigns and events across the UK/EU to the benefit of the organisation and its members – understanding funding and technology developments.

You will have significant experience within political and broader communications environments and will be able to demonstrate your commercial awareness. Your communication skills will be first class and you will be a consummate networker and relationship builder.  Ideally you will have a background within technology, innovation, engineering or automotive.
